Powder Coat Operation
Powder Coat operation will benefit from SR-17 used as a pre-primer to stop the bleeding rust brads which show up on outside powder coated steel items. SR-17 stops the rusting process under the powder coat and will not allow the rust brads to form thus eliminating rework projects. SR-17 will stop the rust brads.
Sandblasting
This LP tank was Dustless blasted (wet blasted) to remove the paint. Overnight a heavy dew set in and flash rusted the newly blasted steel. The contractor used SR-17 to remove the flash rust and to prevent future rust bleeding through the paint. SR-17 stops the rusting process and doubling the life of any paint system.
